SFIO Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility
Additional Director (Capital Market): Needs a degree or certification in finance-related fields like Chartered Accountancy, Company Secretaryship, etc. Requires ten years of experience in regulating the capital market or merchant banking. It’s preferred to have a degree in Law.
Joint Director (Financial Transactions): Requires qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost and Management Accountancy, etc. Needs eight years of experience in regulating or working in the banking sector. A degree in Law is preferred.
Deputy Director (Corporate Law): Requires a degree in any subject along with a bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or Company Secretary qualification. Needs two to three years of experience in Corporate Law.
Deputy Director (Forensic Audit):- Needs qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, MBA in Finance, etc.Requires five years of experience in forensic auditing or similar fields.
Deputy Director (Investigation):- Requires any degree. Needs five years of experience in regulatory enforcement or economic offenses investigation.
Senior Assistant Director (Customs & Central Excise): Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University/Institution; and Three years’ experience.
Principal Private Secretary: For stenographers from various government or public sector organizations
Should currently hold a similar position in their department. No specific educational qualifications were mentioned.
Senior Assistant Director (Banking): Requires qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, MBA in Finance, etc. Requires one year of experience in finance or banking affairs within a government organization.

Graduate in any discipline plus Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized university or institute plus one year experience in handling litigation and court matters/administration of Law in a Government organization; or Integrated graduate in Law (five years’ duration) from a recognized university or institute plus two years experience in handling litigation and court matters/administration of Law in a Government organization.
Private Secretary: Stenographers from the Central Government State Governments Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings Autonomous or statutory organizations or recognized research institutions or universities. holding analogous posts regularly in the parent cadre/department.
