Workman: 05 posts
Trade wise vacancies
i) Fitter: 02 posts (ST-01, PWD-01)
ii) Electronic Mechanic: 01 posts (PWD-01)
iii) Instrument Mechanic: 01 posts (PWD-01)
iv) Driver-cum-Fitter: 01 posts (ST-01)
Educational Qualification:
Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard Pass under 10+2 system) and ITI with National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) or equivalent.
Experience: Two years experience in the required trade.
Preference will be given to Dockyard Apprenticeship School (DAS) Trained Candidates.
For Driver-Cum-Fitter: Secondary School Certificate (10th Standard Pass under 10+2 system) and Four year experience in LMV/HMV Driving. Candidates must have valid LMV /HMV Drving Licence.
Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Between 18 years to 27 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Pay Scales (For all above posts/discipline): Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay — Rs.1900/- per month.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, Trade Test and Interview. Written Examination will be conducted at Visakhapatnam.
