SIKKIM TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST FEBRUARY 2017 FOR SELECTION OF PRIMARY TEACHER FOR CLASSES I TO V AND GRADUATE TEACHER FOR CLASSES VI TO VIII.
1. PRIMARY TEACHER FOR CLASSES I-V (PRIMARY STAGE)
Educational Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST,OBC (Central), OBC (State) and passed in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary
Education ( D. El. Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central), OBC(State) and passed in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central), OBC(State) and passed in final year of 2 years Diploma in Education ( Special Education).
2. GRADUATE TEACHER FOR CLASSES VI-VIII (ELEMENTARY STAGE).
Educational Qualification: B.A./B.Sc./ with 50% marks (45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State)and passed in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.) OR B.A./B.Sc./ with 50 % marks (45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central),OBC(State) and passed in final year of 1 /2 year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through TET Examination. Examination will be conducted on 19th February, 2017 (Sunday) for Primary and Graduate Teacher.
