Punjab & Sind Bank as per Advt. No. PSB/ Clerk/I/Recruitment/2012-13, is recruiting 800 persons for the post of – Single Window Operators- A in Clerical Cadre. Candidates who have qualified in Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in 2011 and have a valid score card may apply for the post through Online system from the official site of Bank. Single Window Operators (in Clerical Cadre): 800 Nos. (Gen-412; SC-178; ST-32; OBC-178) out of total posts; 27 Nos. for PWD and 110 Nos. for Ex-Serviceman and Dependants of Ex-Serviceman.
The recruitment is on State/ UT wise basis; therefore candidates should apply for vacancies of a State/ UT from which they have appeared for Common Written Examination.
Qualification: passed Higher Secondary examination with minimum 60% marks in aggregate (55% for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman candidates)
OR Graduation in any discipline
OR Diploma in Banking recognised by Central/ State or UT Govt.
Essential Requirement— should have valid IBPS Score card obtained in CWE- 2011. Preference will be given to the candidates who have Computer working knowledge. Candidates must have proper knowledge in the Official language of the State/ UT for which he/she applies.
Age limit: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/8/2011. Age relaxation—SC/ST- 5yrs; OBC-3yrs; PWD-10yrs and Ex-Serviceman and Others—as per norms.
Pay Scale: Rs.7200 – Rs.19300.
Selection Steps: On basis of Performance in CWE conducted by IBPS, a shortlist will be prepared and then those shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview of 100 marks. Candidates obtaining 40% marks in Interview (35% for SC/ST/OBC) will be taken as qualified.
The Interview will be held at the respective centres. Date and venue will be informed later to the candidates through Call letters. Call letters will be emailed to the candidates or can be downloaded from the bank’s website.
Recruited candidates will go through probation of 6 months

Application Fee: Rs.200 (Rs.50 for SC/ST/PWD/ Ex-Serviceman/ Disabled Ex-Serviceman and Dependants of Ex-Serviceman) should be deposited in cash by Fee Payment Challan through any branch of Punjab & Sind Bank at the following CBS A/C No.— Account Nos.06061100068286 with Rajendra Place, New Delhi Branch in the name & style of “PSB CLERICAL RECURUITMENT -2012-13”.
After depositing the fee, revisit the bank website and submit the application form. After successful submission of Application form; a system generated Registration slip with unique Registration No. will appear on the computer screen. Make print-out copy of it and retain safely for further use.
There is no need to send any documents by post to the bank’s address. All the necessary documents, Fee challan and etc in original will have to produce during Interview.
