Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh is recruiting 222 candidates for the post of “Sister Grade-II”. Application form can be submitted online. Brief details given below—

No. of Posts: 222 Nos. (Gen-117; OBC-56; SC-37; ST-12). Out of the for PH Candidates—6nos.
Qualification: Candidates should have passed Madhyamik (Class-X) and must have General Nursing and Midwifery Certificate from a recognized Institute. Candidates should have their name registered as a Nurse and Midwife in State Nursing Council.
Age limit: between 18yrs to 30yrs. Age relaxation—OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs and any other categories- as per norms.
How to apply: Candidates may apply either Online or Offline. For offline, candidates will require to prepare the application form as per given format and should sent it to the office address. And for Online method, candidates should visit the official website of Postgraduate Institute Of Medical Education & Research—http://www.pgimer.nic.in
For fast and easy option, candidates were encouraged to submit online application. Before filling online application form, candidates should first make print-out copy of Application Fee challan from the official site and then deposit the amount of Rs.500 (Rs.250 for SC/ST candidates) in any branch of State Bank of India. Pay the prescribed Application Fee in the “Power Jyoti” PUL current account of PGIMER. The account No. of PGIMER for recruitment is 32211613319.
After depositing the application visit the website of PGIMER and fill the online application form. During the process candidates will require to upload the scan image of passport size photograph and Signature in jpg format. Finally submit the application form. There is no need to send any document by post.
Candidates willing to apply offline should prepare the application format as per given format and then along with one copy of fee challan, sent the application form to the below address either through Speed post or Registered Post. Application received through Courier/Ordinary Postal Dak etc. are not acceptable.

Candidates should mention their valid email address during form submission because all the correspondence will made through email only. Call letters/ Admit card will be sent to the email address of the candidates as well as will be available on the official website of PGIMER to download right before one month of scheduled date of Written Examination.
Last date: Online or Offline application should be made/ or reach within 9th April 2012.
