BORDER ROADS ORGANISATION (BRO) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 337 POSTS OF DRAUGHTSMAN, HINDI TYPIST, SUPERVISOR STORES, RADIO MECHANIC, LABORATORY ASSISTANT, WELDER AND MULTI SKILLED WORKER (MASON/ MESS WAITER). LAST DATE — 03/10/2019
1. DRAUGHTSMAN – 40 Posts
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 with Science Subjects from a recognized Board.
ii) Having two years Certificate in Architecture or Draughtsmanship from a recognized Institute or equivalent.
OR
Possessing two years National Trade Certificate for Draughtsman (Civil) from a recognized Institute and having one year practical experience in the trade.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
Pay: Rs. 29200/- per month.
2. HINDI TYPIST – 22 Posts
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 from a recognized Board or equivalent.
ii) Typing speed 30 wpm in Hindi on Computer.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
Pay: Rs. 19900/- per month.
3. SUPERVISOR STORES – 37 Posts
Educational Qualification: i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
ii) Possessing certificate in Material Management or Inventory Control or Stores Keeping from a recognized Institution.
OR
Possessing two years experience in handling of Engineering Stores in Central Govt. or State Govt. Department or establishment.
OR
Possessing Class-I Course for Storeman Technical. For details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
Pay: Rs. 25500/- per month.
4. RADIO MECHANIC – 2 Posts
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent.
ii) Possessing Radio Mechanic Certificate from Industrial Training Institute with 02 years experience as Radio Mechanic in a Govt., Public or Private Sector enterprises.
OR
Possessing Defence Trade Certificate from an army Institute or similar establishment of Defence with 02 year experience in Radio Technology.
OR
Having passed the Class I Course for Wireless Operator and Key Board. For details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
Pay: Rs. 25500/- per month.
5. LABORATORY ASSISTANT – 01 Post
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 from a recognised Board or equivalent.
ii) Laboratory Assistant Certificate issued by Industrial Training Institute or a recognized Institute.
OR
Defence Trade Certificate from an Army Institute or similar establishment of Defence with 01 year experience as Laboratory Assistant from Army Hospital.
OR
Having passed Class I Course for Laboratory Assistant. For details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
Pay: Rs. 21700/- per month.
6. WELDER – 15 Posts
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent.
ii) Possessing Welder (Electrical & Gas) Certificate from Industrial Training Institute or equivalent.
OR
Defence Trade Certificate from an Army Institute or similar establishment of Defence or equivalent and having 01 year experience as welder from Army Workshop.
OR
Having passed the Class-2 Course for Welder. For details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years.
Pay: Rs. 19900/- per month.
7. MULTI SKILLED WORKER (MASON) – 215 Posts
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent.
ii) Possessing certificate of Building construction/ Bricks Mason from Industrial Training Institute/ Industrial Trade Certificate/ National Council for Training in the Vocational Trades/ State Council for Vocational Training.
OR
Passed Certificate Class II for Mason. For details please see the Official Advt.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
Pay: Rs. 18000/- per month.
8. MULTI SKILLED WORKER (MESS WAITER) – 5 Posts
Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
Pay: Rs. 18000/- per month.
Only Male candidates are eligible to apply for the above posts.
Candidates awaiting results of the final examination need not apply. The selected candidates will be on Probation for two years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards: The candidates must possess the Physical Standards as mentioned in the Official Advt. Please see the Official Advt. for details.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test, Practical Test (Trade Test), Written Examination and Medical Examination. The Physical Efficiency Test & Practical Test will be conducted in GREF Centre, Dighi Camp, Alandi Road, Pune- 411015.
