INDIAN ARMY, ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE ROHTAK INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY AND SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL. LAST DATE — 03/11/2020
1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
ii) For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subject or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 21 years
2. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ -23 years
Note:- Only Male candidates of districts Rohtak, Jhajjar, Sonipat and Panipat are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (162 cms for Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms; Chest (expanded) — 82 cms; Weight — 50 kgs
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Army Recruitment Rally consisting of Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE). The Army Recruitment Rally will be held from 19th November, 2020 to 26th November, 2020 at Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex, Rohtak (Haryana).
