INDIAN ARMY, GORKHA RECRUITING DEPOT, GHOOM INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY. LAST DATE — 28/01/2020
SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 and half years and maximum 21 years.
Only Male candidates of Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts of state West Bengal are eligible to apply.
Army Recruitment Rally for the post will be held from 12th February, 2020 to 13th February, 2020 at the Ghoom Army Ground.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 157 cm; Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm; Chest (expanded) — 82 cm; Weight — 48 kg
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Note: Relaxation in Physical Standards as per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
