INDIAN ARMY, ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE PITHORAGARH INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY. LAST DATE — 23/02/2020
SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 21 years.
Only candidates of districts Pithoragarh and Champawat of Uttarakhand State are eligible to apply.
Army Recruitment Rally for the post will be held from 26th February to 10th March, 2020 at Ranikhet Military Station.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 163 cm; (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm; (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 cm; (iv) Weight — 48 kg.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
