INDIAN ARMY INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 99 SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (WOMEN MILITARY POLICE) FOR RECRUITING YEAR 2020-21. LAST DATE — 31/08/2020
SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (WOMEN MILITARY POLICE)
No. of Vacancies: 99 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Matric/ 10th/ SSLC or equivalent with 45% marks in aggregate and minimum 33% marks in each subject studied at Matric/ 10th/ SSLC level without mentioning any specific subjects.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ – 21 years.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable upto 30 years of age in respect of widows of Defence personnel who have died in harness.
Note:- Only Female candidates are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards (For all above posts):
(i) Female Candidates: Height — 152 cms; Chest — The candidate should be capable of chest expansion of 05 cms; Weight — Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical standards.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Recruitment Rally consisting of Physical Fitness Test, Medical Examination and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE). Recruitment rallies are planned to be conducted at Ambala, Lucknow, Jabalpur, Bangalore, Shillong and Pune.
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of Indian Army — www.joinindianarmy.nic.in

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO INDIAN ARMY AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
