INDIAN ARMY, ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE NARANGI (ASSAM) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY, SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT, SOLDIER TRADESMAN, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT AND SEPOY PHARMA. LAST DATE — 18/11/2019
1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: SSLC/ Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above, however minimum 33% in each subject required.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ -21 years.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ -23 years.
3. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ -23 years.
4. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (10TH PASS)
Educational Qualification: i) 10th simple pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ -23 years.
5. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (8TH PASS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th simple pass (For Syce, Mess Keeper and House Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ -23 years.
6. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Account/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Between 17 ½ -23 years.
7. SEPOY PHARMA
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate exam pass and qualified in D.Pharma with minimum 55% in aggregate and registered with State Pharmaceutical Council/ Pharmacy Council of India.
ii) Candidates qualified in B.Pharma with minimum 50% marks and registered with State Pharmaceutical Council/ Pharmacy council of India are also eligible.
Age Limit: Minimum 19 years and maximum 25 years.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 04th December, 2019 to 16th December, 2019 at 8 Assam Police Ground Abhaypuri, Dist Bongaigaon (Assam).
Only candidates of 13 districts of Lower Assam (Barpeta, Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Goalpara, Kamrup (Rural), Kamrup (Metro), Baksa, Nalbari, Udalguri, Darrang & South Salmara Mancachar) are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 160 cms (157 cms for posts at Sl. No. 2, 3 and 7); (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms; (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 cms; (iv) Weight — 48 kgs.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Note: Relaxation in Physical Standards will be as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
