INDIAN ARMY, ARMY RECRUITING OFFICE LUDHIANA INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY, SOLDIER TECHNICAL, SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL AND SOLDIER TECHNICAL NURSING ASSISTANT. LAST DATE — 22/03/2020
1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% matks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in each subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 21 years
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years
3. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years
4. SOLDIER TECHNICAL NURSING ASSISTANT
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
OR
10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years
NOTE: Only candidates of districts Ludhiana, Moga, Roopnagar and SAS Nagar (Mohali) are eligible to apply.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 07th April, 2020 to 16th April, 2020 at Dholewal Military Station, Ludhiana.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cm (162 cm for Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical); Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm; Chest (expanded) — 82 cm; Weight — 50 kg

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test, Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
