1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Note: For Boards following grading system minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 21 years.
2. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2/ Intermediate Examination pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% marks in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Account/ Book Keeping in Class 12th in mandatory.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
3. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th Simple pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
4. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th Simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper and Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
Only candidates of UT of Lakshadweep Island are eligible to apply.
Army Recruitment Rally cum Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be held for the posts from 21st to 23rd February, 2020 at Kavaratti.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 155 cm for local and 165 cm for Settlers; Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cm (76 cm for Soldier Tradesman); Chest (expanded) — 82 cm (81 cm for Soldier Tradesman); Weight — 50 kg (48 kg for Soldier Tradesman).
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
