1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 21 years as on 01/10/2019.
2. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
3. SOLDIER TECHNICAL (AVIATION/ AMMUNITION EXAMINER)
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Examination pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
4. SOLDIER TECH NURSING ASSISTANT (AMC)/ NURSING ASSISTANT VET
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
5. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) 10 + 2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, and Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject.
ii) Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
6. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th simple pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
7. SOLDIER TRADESMAN (ALL ARMS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th simple pass (for Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: 17 years 06 months to 23 years as on 01/10/2019.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Coimbatore from 22nd August, 2019 to 02nd September, 2019 at VOC Park Stadium, Erode (Tamil Nadu).
Only candidates from eleven districts of Tamilnadu namely- Erode, Theni, Madurai, Dindigul, The Niligiri, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Salem, Coimbatore, Namakkal and Tiruppur are eligible to apply.
Physical Standards:
(i) Height — 166 cms (165 cms for Sl. No. 2 to 4 and 162 cms for Sl. No. 5); (ii) Chest (unexpanded) — 77 cms (76 cms for Sl. No. 6 & 7); (iii) Chest (expanded) — 82 cms (81 cms for Sl. No. 6 & 7); (iv) Weight — 50 kgs (48 kgs for Sl. No. 6 & 7).

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done through Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Medical Examination and Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
