1. SOLDIER GENERAL DUTY
Educational Qualification: Class 10th / Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading system, Minimum D Grade (33-40) in each subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 21 years.
2. SOLDIER TRADESMEN (10TH PASS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 10th Simple Pass.
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
3. SOLDIER TRADESMEN (8TH PASS)
Educational Qualification: i) Class 8th Simple Pass (for syce, House Keeper and Mess Keeper).
ii) No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
4. SOLDIER TECHNICAL
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
5. SOLDIER NURSING ASSISTANT/ NURSING ASSISTANT VETERINARY
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 50% marks in
aggregate and minimum 40% in each subject.
OR
10+2/ Intermediate pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Botony, Zoology and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
6. SOLDIER CLERK/ STORE KEEPER TECHNICAL/ INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Educational Qualification: 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class 12th is mandatory.
Age Limit: Minimum 17 ½ years and maximum 23 years.
NOTE: Only candidates of districts Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Badgam, Kupwara, Sopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Kulgam are eligible to apply.
Army Recruitment Rally for the posts will be held from 27th May, 2020 to 05th June, 2020 at Sonarwani, Bandipora (Jammu & Kashmir).
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 163 cm (162 cm for Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management); Chest (unexpanded) — 77; Chest (expanded) — 82; Weight — 48 kg

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test, Medical Test and Written Test through Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
