Railway Recruitment Cell — South Central Railway, Secunderabad, is recruiting 2801 Trackman, Helper-II and Assistant Pointsman in different departments. Group – D posts. Employment Notification No. RRC/SCR/Group-D/1/2013. Interested candidates may apply on prescribed application format within scheduled date. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria in brief is given below —

OPEN MARKET RECRUITMENT — GROUP D POSTS.
Total vacancies — 2801 Nos. 

1. Trackman (Department—Engineering)
Number of Vacancies: 1979 Nos. (Gen—1000; SC—297; ST—148; OBC—534). Out of them for Ex-servicemen – 396 Nos.

2. Helper-II (Department – Electrical/ Engineering/ Mechanical/ S&T)
Number of Vacancies: 440 Nos. (Gen—222; SC—66; ST—33; OBC—119). Out of them PH – 84 and Ex-servicemen – 88 Nos.

3. Assistant Pointsman (Department—Operating)
Number of Vacancies: 382 Nos. (Gen—193; SC—57; ST—29; OBC—109). Out of them for Ex-servicemen only – 76 Nos.

Educational Qualification:
Class 10 pass OR ITI or equivalent.

Age: between 18yrs to 33yrs as on 01/01/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.1800/-

Application Fee:
Rs.100/- in form of crossed Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of – Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Secunderabad—500 071 and payable at Hyderabad or Secunderabad.

No Application Fee for SC/ST, Women candidates, Economically Backward Class, Minorities, PWD and Ex-servicemen.

Selection of the candidates will be through Written examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and medical examination.
Written examination will be objective type multiple choice question based on 10th standard. For details see the below link.
