The South Indian Bank Ltd. is recruiting 225 Nos. “Probationary Clerks” and “Probationary Officer (IT)” for the branches/ offices in Tamil Nadu state. Educational qualification norms and brief details are given below —
1. PROBATIONARY CLERKS
Number of Vacancies: 200 Nos.
Qualification: Graduate pass with minimum 55% marks for science discipline and 50% marks in case of Arts/ other graduate. Candidates shall have obtained minimum 60% marks in Matric level and Higher Secondary level examination.
Other essential requirement: Candidates having permanent address in the state of Tamil Nadu for more than 5 yrs, and are proficient in local language apart from English language only are eligible to apply
Age: Not less than 20yrs and not more than 26yrs as on 31.12.2013. Upper age limit will be relaxed by five years in the case of SC/ST candidates.
2. OFFICER (IT)
Number of Vacancies: 18 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies—
— Application software Development: 18 posts.
— Information Security Domain: 5 posts.
— Database Administration: 1 post.
— System Administration: 1 post.
Qualification: B.Tech/ B.E in Computer science, IT, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Instrumentation OR M.Sc in Computer Science, IT OR MCA
Experience—Minimum 2yrs in the respective field.
Age: Maximum 28yrs.
Pay Scales: —
For Probationary Clerk: Rs.7200—19300 plus other allowances as per norms.
For Officers (IT): 14500—25700 plus other allowances as per norms.
