Southern Naval Command of Kochi is recruiting 22 Males for the post of Laboratory Assistant/ Laboratory Demonstrator. Diploma or Engineering Course pass candidates can apply for the post.
1. Name of the Post: Laboratory Assistant
No. of Vacant post: 11 (Gen-7; OBC-2; SC-1; ST-1) among them 1 nos. for Ex-Serviceman
Qualification: Electrical Engineering Diploma Course pass candidates can apply. Candidates with 3 years Apprenticeship Certificate course on Electrical Engineering and 2 years working experience were also eligible to apply.
2. Name of the Post: Laboratory Demonstrator
No. of vacant post: 11 Nos. (Gen-5; OBC-2, SC-2, ST-2) among them 1 nos. Ex-serviceman and 1 nos. PH
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or 3 years Apprenticeship Certificate Course on Mechanical Engineering with 2 years working experience can apply for the post.
For all the above post, candidates should be between 18 years to 27 years as on 13-5-2011. Age relaxation for candidates under category of OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs and PH-10yrs (as per norms).
Selection of candidates will be made through either Written Test or Interview.
Application can be made of plain paper with the below given information, along with Application, candidates should enclosed:
- Attested copies of Educational, Caste and Work Experience (If any) Certificate
- Three passport size photo, one copy pasted on Application Form and other two copy enclosed (write name and address on back of the photograph)
- Two self-addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs.5 on each.
On the top of the Application containing envelope, write: “Application for the post of ………. & category…………“
Last Date: Your Application should reach within 13th May 2011 (20th May for candidates of Andaman Nicobar Island, Assam and Tripura)
