Name of the Sports Events:
The candidates should have excelled at International/ National/ State/ UT level in the following sports events:-
Archery, Athletics/ Cross Country, Boxing (Men/ Women), Basket Ball, Bodybuilding, Football, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Kabadi (Men/ Women), Kayak and Canoeing, Shooting (Sports), Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling and Wushu.

 

Educational Qualification: i) Should have passed Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Institute.
ii) The candidate must be a permanent resident of UT of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable upto 02 years for outstanding sports persons.

 

Only Male/ Female candidates of UT of Jammu and Kashmir are eligible to apply.

The vacancies are under Sports Quota in Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police on Temporary basis.

 

Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 5′.6″; Chest (unexpanded) — 32″; Chest (expanded) — 33.5
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 5.2″

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test.
