UCO Bank is recruiting 127 Specialist Officer for the posts of Security Officer, Law Officer and ITI Officer

UCO Bank is recruiting 127 Nos. Boys and Girls as a Specialist Officer in the posts of “Security Officer”, “Law Officer” and “IT Officer”. Application can be submitted online from the Bank’s website. Candidates meeting the below mentioned criteria may apply for the posts—

1. Security Officer- JMGS-I: 7 Nos. (Gen-4; SC-1; ST-1; OBC-1)
— Security Officer- MMGS-II: 15 Nos. (Gen-7; OBC-5; SC-2; ST-1)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from recognised University.
Experience: For JMGS-I minimum 5yrs as Commissioned Officer in Army/Navy/Air force or officer in the rank of Inspector (Executive)/Inspector (GD) from Central Police organisation like BSF/CRPF/ITBP/CISF/SSB/CIB/CBI. Please refer to Bank’s website for more information.
For MMGS-II, minimum experience of 8yrs in the same field as of JMGS-I
Age: For JMGS-I—21yrs to 35 yrs and for JMGS-II—21yrs to 45yrs as on 30-06-2011.

2. Law Officers- MMGS-II: 2 Nos. (Gen-1; SC-1)
— Law Officers- MMGS-III: 9 Nos. (Gen-6; OBC-2; SC-1)
Qualification: Graduate in Degree of Law of 3yrs or 5yrs course from recognised University and may have aqcquired minimum 60% marks in Law Degree course.
Experience: For Law Officer in MMGS-II – Enrolled as Advocate with Bar Council of India and is practicing as Advocate for 5 years having experience in dealing with cases of Banking/Financial Institutions or 5 years experience as Law Officer in Legal Department in Specialist Cadre in a Commercial Bank or total 5 (five) years as Advocate and as Law Officer in a Commercial Bank.
— For Law Officer in MMGS-III, Minimum experience of 7yrs in the same field as of MMGS-II
Age: 25yrs to 35yrs in MMGS-II and 30yrs to 40yrs in MMGS-III as on 30-06-2011.
For both above mentioned two posts (Security Officer and Law Officers) selection of candidates will be through and on basis of Interview.

3. IT Officers- JMGS-I: 94 Nos. (Gen-45; SC-15; ST-8; OBC-24; OC-1; HI-1; VI-1)
Qualification: BE/B Tech (4 Year Full Time Degree Course) in Electronics & Tele Communication/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognised University/Institution
OR
MCA/DOEACC – B level or Post Graduate in Electronics & Tele Communications/ Electronics & Communication/ Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognised University/Institution
Preference will be given to candidates having certification in CISA/CISM/CISCO/OCA/ OCP/CCNA/ITIL. Please refer the bank’s website (URL given below) for more information.
Age: 21yrs to 30yrs as on 30-6-2011
For this post, candidates will be selected through Written Test and Interview.

Age Relaxation: For candidates of—OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs, Ex-Serv-5yrs, Person with disability-10yrs. Age relaxation is as per govt. norms

Before applying online, candidates should deposit the Application for of Rs.450/ (Rs.50 for SC/ST) from any branch of UCO Bank. The fee amount should be deposited through Fee payment Challan only which can be downloaded from the UCO bank’s website, on the following Current A/c No.01900210008423 of “UCO Bank Specialist Officers Recruitment Project”
Now after depositing the application fee, candidates can visit the bank’s website and fill the details as instructed on the bank’s website. Candidates will require to upload the scanned passport size photograph and Signature (Please read the full instruction on UCO Bank’s website before submitting the form to avoid errors).
After submitting the form, a system generated application will appear on the screen and candidates should make a print-out copy of this application form.

Important: Candidates who have applied for the post of “Security Officer (JMGS-I & MMGS-II)” and “Law Officer (MMGS-II & MMGS-III)” should send the print-out application along with the original fee challan receipt to the following address only by Ordinary Post—“General Manager, Human Resource Management, UCO Bank, Head Office, 1st Floor, 10, B.T.M. Sarani, Kolkata- 700 001 (West Bengal)”. On the top of the envelope super scribe- “PRINT OUT FOR THE POST OF ________ OFFICER IN SCALE-______ IN UCO BANK”.
Candidates who have applied for the post of “IT Officers in JMGS-I” do not require to send the print-out application to anywhere. They should produce it during the Written Test/Interview.

Call letter will be issued to the selected candidates only from the bank’s site. Announcement of Call Letters will be available on bank’s website after dated- 28-11-2011

Last Date: Online application should be made till 17-10-2011. And last date to receive the print-out application is 21-10-2011 (dated- 01-11-2011 from far flung areas)
