Spices Board India is recruiting 6 Posts of Deputy Director (Accts), Deputy Director (Aud & Vig), Scientist B (Plant Breeding), Scientist B (Chemistry) and Statistical Assistant. SPICES BOARD INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 6 DEPUTY DIRECTOR, SCIENTIST-B AND STATISTICAL ASST. LAST DATE – 10/10/2014.

 

1. Deputy Director (Accts): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualifications: CA/ICWA/CFA or MBA (First Class) with specialization in Financial Management from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience: 5 years experience in supervisory capacity preferably in Finance/Accounts/Audit.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.6600/- per month.
Age limit: Maximum 40 yrs as on 1.09.2014.

 

2. Deputy Director (Aud & Vig): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Educational Qualifications: CA/ICWA/CFA or MBA (First Class) with specialization in Financial Management from a recognized University/Institution.
Experience: 5 years experience in supervisory capacity preferably in Audit.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.6600/- per month.
Age limit: Maximum 40 yrs as on 1.09.2014.

 

3. Scientist B (Plant Breeding): 1 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture with specialisation in Plant Breeding with 70% marks or Post Graduate Degree in Botany with specialisation in Plant Breeding/ Genetics /Taxonomy / Cytology/Plant physiology with 70% marks from a recognised university. Candidates should have a 7 OGPA/10 or 70% marks in Post Graduation.
Desirable: Doctorate Degree in Plant Breeding OR Three years’ research experience in the above area of specialization with supporting certificates/documents.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- per month.
Age limit: Maximum 35 yrs as on 1.09.2014. The upper age limit is relaxation for reserved category as per Govt. norms.

 

4. Scientist B (Chemistry): 2 Nos. (OBC—1 & Gen—1)
Educational Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry (Pure Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Natural Product Chemistry) from a recognized university with minimum 7 OGPA out of 10 or 70% marks.
Desirable: Doctorate Degree in Chemistry in any of the above discipline OR Three years’ research experience in the field of quality control of agricultural products.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600/- to Rs.39100/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.5400/- per month.
Age limit: Maximum 35 yrs as on 1.09.2014. The upper age limit is relaxation for reserved category as per Govt. norms.

 

5. Statistical Assistant: 1 Nos. (ST)
Educational Qualifications: First Class Post Graduate Degree in Statistics/Agricultural Statistics from a recognized University and Candidates should have Computer knowledge and familiarity with software tool for statistical design/ analysis, word processing and Electronic worksheet.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- to Rs.20200/- per month and Grade Pay Rs.2800/- per month.
Age limit: Maximum 30 yrs as on 1.09.2014. The upper age limit is relaxation for reserved category as per Govt. norms.

 

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.400/- (for SC, ST, PH, Ex-serviceman, Female candidates Rs.200/-) in form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of the – Secretary, Spices Board payable at Cochin, Kerala.

 

Mode of Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Group Discussion and Presentation/Interview. The examination centre will held at — Itanagar, Imphal, Kohima, Agartala, Guwahati, Shillong & Aizawl, on dated 02.11.2014.

Upon Submission of Online Application, the system generated Registration slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies. Out of which one copy should be kept by candidates for future reference and other copy duly signed by the candidate, enclosed with Demand Draft & all other relevant documents in support of eligibility, is to be sent at the below given address so as to reach on or before 17.10.2014.

Superscribe the envelope containing the print out with “Application for the post of _______”.
