Educational Qualification:
i) For Pay Level 5:- A Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
ii) For Pay Level 4:- 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
OR
A pass in 1st year of B.Sc (Physics) or, a pass in 10+2 stage in Higher Secondary in Science (Math or Physics).
iii) For Pay Level 2/3:- 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ University.
OR
A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate may also apply.
Sports Qualification:
i) For Pay Level 4/5:-
Obtained atleast 3rd position by representing the Country in any one of the following:-
a) World Cup (Junior/ Youth/ Senior)
b) World Championships (Junior/ Senior)
c) Asian Games (Senior)
d) Commonwealth Games (Senior)
e) Youth Olympics

d) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior).
e) World University Games.

iii) Represented a State or equivalent unit and obtained at least 3rd Position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships.
OR
iv) Represented a State and obtained at least 3rd Position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association.
OR
v) Represented a University and obtained at least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the ageis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR
vi) Obtained 1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 — Rs.20200
The vacancies are against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) on North Western Railway for the year 2019-20.
Note: Only those Sportspersons who have acquired the sports achievements- eligibility norms in the championship on or after 01/04/2017 and are active will be eligible to apply.
Only candidates having the required Sports Qualification are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will have to undergo Training.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of Sports Trials, Interview, Assessment of Sports Achievements and Educational Qualification etc.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.500/- (Rs.250/- for SC/ ST/ Women/ Minorities and EBC). Fee can be paid through Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of North Western Railway Sports Association, payable at Jaipur/ G.P.O Jaipur.
