Game wise vacancies:
i) Hockey- 04 posts (Women)
ii) Kabbaddi- 06 posts (Women-03, Men-03)
iii) Basketball- 04 posts (Women-03, Men-01)
iv) Cricket- 02 posts (Women)
v) Hand Ball- 02 posts (Women)
vi) Cycling- 02 posts (Men)
vi) Weight Lifting- 01 post (Men)
Educational Qualification:
i) For Level 2 and 3:- 12th pass.
ii) For Level 4 and 5:- Graduate.
Sports Qualification:
i) For Level 4 and 5:- At least 3rd position in World Cup (Junior/ Youth/ Senior) or World Championships (Junior/ Senior) or Asian Games (Senior) or Commonwealth Games (Senior) or Youth Olympic or Champions Trophy (Hockey).
ii) For Level 2 and 3:- Represented the Country in World Cup (Junior/ Youth/ Senior) or World Championships (Junior/ Senior) or Asian Games (Senior) or Commonwealth Games (Senior) or Youth Olympics or Champions Trophy (Hockey) OR at least 3rd position in Commonwealth Championships (Junior/ Senior) or Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior) or South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior) or USIC (World Railway) Championships (Senior) or World University Games OR at least 3rd position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships OR at least 3rd position in National Games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympic Association OR at least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities OR 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200 — Rs.20200
The vacancies are against Sports Quota for the year 2019-20 in Northern Railway.
Note:-
i) All the Championships mentioned above should have been conducted under the aegis of recognized International/ National/ State Sports Federation and also recognized by the Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB).
ii) Sports achievements on or after 01/04/2017 will only be considered for appointment and Sports Persons should be an active player.
The selected candidates will undergo Probation period of Five (05) years.
The selected candidates will be required to undergo Training as per the requirement of the post on which he/ she has been selected.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be done based on Trials, Assessment of recognized Sports Achievements and Educational Qualification. The expected date of Trial is after 16/12/2019.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes).
