SPORTS-PERSONS IN GRADE C
1. LEVEL 4/5
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Hockey: 04 posts (Men-02, Women-02)
ii) Basketball: 01 post (Women)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.25500-81100/ Rs.29200-92300 with Grade Pay Rs.2400/ 2800
2. LEVEL 2/3
No. of Vacancies: 16 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Hockey: 03 posts (Men-01, Women-02)
ii) Basketball: 04 posts (Men-02, Women-02)
iii) Volleyball: 03 posst (Men-01, Women-02)
iv) Weightlifting: 02 posts (Men)
v) Power Lifting: 02 posts (Men)
vi) Handball: 02 posts (Men)
Educational Qualification: Passed 12th standard or its equivalent examination from a recognized Institution.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.19900-63200/ Rs.21700-69100 with Grade Pay Rs.1900/ 2000
Sports Eligibility:
A. For Level 4/5:
i) Represented the country in Olympic Games (Senior Category)
OR
ii) At least 3rd position in any of the following:-
a) World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category), or
b) World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category), or
v) Asian Games (Senior Category), or
d) Common Wealth Games (Senior Category).
B. For Level 2/3:
i) Represented the country in any of the following:-
a) World cup (Junior/ Senior Category), or
b) World championships (Junior/ Senior Category), or
c) Asian games (Senior Category), or
d) Common wealth games (Senior Category)
OR
ii) At least 3rd Position in any of the following:-
a) Commonwealth Championship (Junior/ Senior Category), or
b) Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior Category), or
c) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category), or
d) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).
OR
iii) At least 3rd Position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships.
OR
iv) At least 3rd Position in National games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics Association.
OR
v) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter university Championship organized under the ageis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR
vi) 1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category).
Note: Only those candidates who have acquired the above sports achievements between 01/04/2016 and 06/10/2018 and are active will be eligible to apply.
The vacancies are against Sports Quota for the year 2018- 2019. Only Sportsperson candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Trials, Assessment of Sports Achievements and Educational Qualification.
