Event wise vacancies:
i) Hockey- 02 posts (Women)
ii) Basketball- 04 posts (Women-02, Men-02)
iii) Cricket- 02 posts (Men)
iv) Golf- 01 post (Men)
v) Archery- 01 post (Men)
Educational Qualification:
i) For Pay Band Level-5:- A University Degree or its equivalent examination.
ii) For Pay Band Level-4:- 12th (10+2) Passed with Physics and Math in higher secondary examination or 10th Passed plus ITI or its equivalent (NAC from NCVT) examination for technical category.
iii) For Pay Band Level-2 and Level-3:- 12th (10+2) or its equivalent examination for NTPC and 10th Pass plus ITI for technical category or equivalent (NAC from NCVT) or 12th (10+2) Passed with Physics and math in higher secondary examination.
Sports Qualification:
A) For Pay Band Level-5/ Level-4:-
i) Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Senior Category)).
OR
ii) At least 3rd position in any of the following Championships/ Events:
a) World Cup (Junior/ Youth/ Senior),
b) World Championships (Junior/ Senior),
c) Asian Games (Senior),
d) Commonwealth Games (Senior),
e) Youth Olympics,
f) Champions Trophy (Hockey).
B) For Pay Band Level-2/ Level-3:-
i) Represented the Country in any of the following Championships/ Events:
a) World Cup (Junior/ Youth/ Senior),
b) World Championships (Junior/ Senior),
c) Asian Games (Senior),
d) Commonwealth Games (Senior),
e) Youth Olympics,
f) Champions Trophy (Hockey).
OR
At least 3rd position in any of the following Championships/ Events:
a) Commonwealth Championships (Junior/ Senior),
b) Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/ Senior),
c) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior),
d) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior),
e) World University Games.
OR
At least 3rd position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships.
OR
At least 3rd position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association.
OR
At least 3rd position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR
1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 25 years as on 01-07-2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.19900 — Rs.92300
Note: Candidate should be currently an active player and should have fulfilled the sports achievements on or after 01-04-2017.

The vacancies are against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2019-20 in Chittaranjan Locomotive Works (CLW). The candidates will be appointed in different Grade Pay and Pay Bands.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Sports Trial, Interview, Educational Qualification and Sports Achievements.
