Sportsperson in Income Tax Dept, WB, Kolkata- 23 Tax Assistant, Notice Server & Multi-Tasking Staff. Last Dt:30/4/2012

Income Tax Department of West Bengal, Kolkata, Under Ministry of Finance, is recruiting 23 meritorious Sportspersons  for the post of “Tax Assistant”, “Notice Server” and “Multi Tasking Staff” in Group-C. The posts were on temporary basis but likely to become permanent. List of Sports/Games and details given below. F.No. 1E/15/2010-11/ Sports/ RW/—

1. Tax Assistant: 3 Nos. 
Qualification: Degree in any discipline or its equivalent and must have speed of 8000 key depression per hour in work of Data Entry on Computer.
Age: 18yrs to 27yrs
Pay scale: RS.5200— Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.2400

2. Notice Server: 5 Nos.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass candidates may apply
Age: between 18yrs to 27yrs
Salary: Rs.5200— Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.2000

3. Multi Tasking Staff: 15 Nos.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass candidates may apply.
Age: between 18yrs to 25yrs
Pay Scale: Rs.5200— Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1800

Age Relaxation: Age will be counted as on 31/3/2012. Age relaxation—5yrs for General and OBC candidates; 10 yrs for SC/ST candidates.

Sports Eligibility: Candidates who have represented State/ Country/ University/ Schools in National/ International or Inter-University Tournaments or Sports conducted by All India School Games Federation in any one of the below mentioned games were eligible to apply—

Selection steps: After scrutinizing the documents, candidates will be called for Interview-cum-Personality test. Qualified candidates will have to appear in the Ground/ Proficiency Test for final selection. For the post of “Tax Assistant” there will Computer Skill Test. Date and venue Interview/ Test will be declared later.

How to Apply: Application form can be prepared as per given format issued officially and should reach within 30/4/2012 at the office address of Commissioner of Income Tax. Address given below.
Application form should be enclosed with all Attested copies (Attestation made by Gazetted Offcier) of – Birth prove certificate, Educational/ Qualification certificate, Sports Certificate, caste Certificate and any other relevant documents if any.
Paste one attested recent color passport size photograph on Application. Attestation should be made from Gazetted Officer.

Last Date and Address: Application form should reach within 30th April 2012 (upto 6 pm) at the following address— “Additional Commissioner of Income-tax (Hqrs.- Personnel), Room No. 14, Aayakar Bhawan, P-7, Chowringhee Square, Kolkata—700069”.
