Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is going to conduct Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2015 for recruitment of various posts, viz. Assistant, Inspector, Accountant, Investigator, Sub Inspector, Auditor, Upper Division Clerk, Tax Assistant, Compiler and Etc, under different Ministries/Offices/ Cadre. Group ‘B’ posts in Pay Band –II Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/ Rs.4200

Group ‘C’ posts in Pay Band-I: Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.2400 / Rs.2800

Number of Vacancies: The number of vacancies available is not declared yet. Firm number of vacancies in each category of posts will be determined atleast one month before the declaration of the final results.

The reservation of vacancies for SC/ST, OBC, PWD candidates is as per Govt. norms. Vacancies for Ex-S are reserved only for Group “C” posts and not for Group “B” Posts as per extant Government Order/Instructions.

 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:

i) For the post of Compiler : Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject.

ii) For the post of Statistical Investigator Grade – II: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

iii) For rest of all other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

 

PROFICIENCY / SKILL TEST:
Candidates applying for Group ‘B’ posts will have to sit for Interview after Tier I Examination and Tier II Examination. Applicants for the post of “Assistant” in CSS only will also sit for Computer Proficiency Test.
There will be No Interview after Tier I Examination and Tier II Examination for the posts in Group ‘C’ but for the post of “Tax Assistant” only there will be Data Entry Skill Test (8000 key depression per hour)

AGE LIMIT WILL BE RECKONED AS ON 01ST AUGUST, 2015:

(i) 20yrs to 30yrs for Sub Inspector (CBI);
(ii) Upto 30yrs for Sub Inspector (NIA) & Assistant Enforcement Officer (Directorate of Enforcement/Revenue)
(iii) Upto 32yrs for Statistical Investigator Gr.II (Statistics Prog. Implementation)
(iv) 18yrs to 25yrs for Sub Inspector (Central Bureau of Narcotics)
(v) AND 18yrs to 27yrs for rest of all Posts.

Upper age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC/ PWD, Ex-Serviceman and Others, if any will be as per Govt. norms. See officially released advertisement for more details.

 

Physical standards for the post of Inspector (Central Excise/Examiner/Preventive Officer/Inspector & Sub-Inspector in CBN):
Male Candidates: Height 157.5 cms; Chest 81 cms. (fully expanded with a minimum expanses of 5 cms.)
Female Candidates: Height 152 cms; Weight 48 Kgs.
In the case of Garwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Scheduled Tribes, height relaxable by 5 cms (Male) and 2.5cms (Female) AND Weight relaxable by 2 Kg (Female) will be given.

Physical standards for the Post of Sub- Inspector in Central Bureau of Investigation:
For Men: Height—165cms; Chest – 76cms with expansion
For Female: Height – 150 cms; Chest – Not applicable.
Vision : Eye-sight (with or without glasses) — Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

Physical standards for the Post of Sub- Inspector in National Investigation Agency:
For Men: Height—170cms; Chest – 76cms with expansion
For Female: Height – 150 cms; Chest – Not applicable.
Vision : Eye-sight (with or without glasses)Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.

 

APPLICATION FEE:
Rs.100/- is to be paid as Application Fee by General and OBC candidates. Fee can be paid through State Bank of India only either in the form of challan (online system generated challan only) or on-line through SBI Net Banking. Payment can also be made through any Credit or Debit Card.

Candidates who are applying Offline, i.e. in hard paper shall pay the fee by means of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS) only which is available in all Post Offices. See officially released advertisement for more details.

All Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from paying application fee.

 

Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2015 (Tier-I) on SUNDAY the 9th August, 2015 & 16th August, 2015 at various Examination Centre. Candidates will have option to choose their examination centre in the application form.

The facility of on-line application will be available upto 28.05.2015  Extended to 09/06/2015 (5:00 pm) for Part-I registration and for Part-II registration upto 01.06.2015  Extended to 11/06/2015 (5.00 p.m.)

Upon successful submission of online application form, the system generated Registration Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it and shall retain the same safely for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND THE PRINT-OUT TO THE COMMISSION.

Closing date for receipt of application, in case of Offline (Hard Copy) application: 01.06.2015  Extended to 11/06/2015.   1. Sir I have 57% at 12th level in mathematics and I have completed bsc in physics with 69% and I am belonging to sc caste…so can I apply for statistical investigator. …reply plz
