SSC CPO Selection Process 2024
Written Exam (Stage I): This is the first step in the SSC CPO 2024 selection process. It consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is worth 200 marks.
Physical Endurance Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and Medical Test (Stage II): If you pass the written exam, you’ll move on to this stage. Here, your physical abilities and health will be assessed through various tests.
Written Test (Stage III): Finally, there’s another written exam, which is the second paper of the selection process. Like the first one, it contains multiple-choice questions and is also worth 200 marks.
SSC CPO Paper I Exam Pattern 2024
Online Examination: The SSC CPO Paper I exam for 2024 will be conducted online, meaning it’s computer-based.
Two Papers: Paper I and Paper II make up the written examination.
Paper I Details:
Divided into four parts with 200 questions in total.
Each question carries one mark, totaling 200 marks.
The duration of Paper I is 2 hours.
Language Options:
While the question paper is available in Hindi, only Parts A, B, and C of Paper I will be in Hindi.
Paper I Exam Pattern 2024:
Part I: General Intelligence and Reasoning – 50 questions worth 50 marks.
Part II: General Knowledge and General Awareness – 50 questions worth 50 marks.
Part III: Quantitative Aptitude – 50 questions worth 50 marks.
Part IV: English Comprehension – 50 questions worth 50 marks.
SSC CPO Paper II Exam Pattern 2024
Paper II Overview: This part of the SSC CPO exam focuses on the English Language & Comprehension.
Question and Marks: Paper II contains a total of 200 questions, each carrying one mark. So, it’s worth 200 marks in total.
Duration: The exam lasts for 2 hours.
Penalty for Wrong Answers: If you answer a question incorrectly, 0.25 marks will be deducted from your score. This rule applies to both Paper I and Paper II.
Question Format: Like Paper I, Paper II also consists of multiple-choice questions.

SSC CPO PET/PST Requirements:-
- PET/PST Tests: After the Physical Standard Test (PST), candidates move on to the Physical Endurance Test (PET) for SSC CPO.
- Requirements for Male Candidates:
- Run 100 meters in 16 seconds.
- Complete a 1.6 km race within 6.5 minutes.
- Long jump 3.65 meters in 3 attempts.
- High jump 1.2 meters in 3 attempts.
- Requirements for Female Candidates:
- Run 100 meters in 18 seconds.
- Complete an 800-meter race within 4 minutes.
- Long jump 2.7 meters in 3 attempts.
- High jump 0.9 meters in 3 attempts.
How to Download SSC CPO Admit Card 2024
First, go to the official SSC website at www.ssc.nic.in or click on the link for your region from the table above.
Once you’re on the homepage, look for the “Admit Card” link at the top and click on it.
Now, choose your SSC region, and you’ll be taken to the website specific to your region.
Here, you’ll need to enter your SSC Roll Number or Registration ID that you got when you registered for the SSC CPO 2024 Exam.
Next, enter your Date of Birth or Password.
Click on the “Search Now” button. Your SSC CPO admit card will pop up on the screen. Make sure to print it out and bring it with you to the exam center.
