SSC Junior Engineer Application Fees 2024
For the SSC JE Recruitment 2024, candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs 100/-. However, women candidates and individuals belonging to SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories are exempted from this fee.

Scheme of Examination of SSC JE 2024
The SSC JE 2024 Recruitment Scheme of Examination unfolds in two papers, both conducted in a computer-based mode.

- General Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks)
- General Engineering (Civil & Structural/Electrical/Mechanical) (100 questions, 100 marks) Candidates are granted a duration of 2 hours for completion, extending to 2 hours and 40 minutes for those necessitating a scribe.
Paper II: The second phase, similar to Paper-I, is also a computer-based examination. Candidates attempt the chosen General Engineering section based on their educational qualifications, with 100 questions carrying 300 marks. The duration remains consistent with Paper-I.
Candidates must select their General Engineering section in both papers according to their educational background, failing which their candidature will be rejected. Both papers consist of objective-type, multiple-choice questions available in Hindi and English.
