Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Madhya Pradesh Region, is inviting application from eligible male and female candidates for the post of – Junior Chemist, Technical Assistant, Storekeeper, Horticulture Asst., Scientific Assistant and Etc. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF below). Qualification norms and brief details are given below —
1. JUNIOR CHEMIST
Number of Vacancies: 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: i) Master’s degree in Chemistry or Dairy Chemistry or Oil Technology or Food Technology from a recognized University. OR ii) B.Sc. degree with Chemistry as one of the subject or B.Sc.(Hons.) in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent and with two years experience in analytical work.
Age Limit: Maximum 30yrs.
2. JUNIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Degree in Commerce or Economics or degree in Law from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Maximum 30yrs.
3. STOREKEEPER GRADE-II
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: A Degree in Agriculture or in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject from a recognized University
Age Limit: Below 25yrs.
4. HORTICULTURE ASSISTANT GRADE-I
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Master Degree in Agriculture with specialization in Horticulture ORMaster Degree in Horticulture or Floriculture or Pomology.
Age: 18yrs to 28yrs
5. SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT
Number of Vacancies: 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: B.Sc with Botany or Zoology or B.Sc. in Agriculture.
Age: 18yrs to 25yrs.
6. SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (HYDROGEOLOGY)
Number of Vacancies: 3 Nos. (Gen—1; SC—1; ST—1)
Qualification: i) Master’s degree in Geology or Hydrogeology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology or Geo-exploration or Earth Science and Resources Management ; OR ii) Master of Technology(Engineering Geology) from a recognised University or Institution.
Age: Not exceeding 30yrs.
Upper age relaxation: Age will be counted as on last date of submission of application, i.e. 18/07/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Candidates’ Selection: The selection to the posts will be made on the basis of an Interview/ Personality Test/ Skill Test.

Examination Fee: Candidates willing to apply for any one of the above mentioned post, shall pay Examination fee of Rs.50/- by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. These stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. These Recruitment Fee Stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose. These Recruitment Stamps must be got cancelled from the Counter Clerks of any Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Office.
NO FEE FOR SC/ ST/PH/ EX-SERVICEMAN AND WOMEN APPLICANTS.
