Educational Qualification:Â Must have passed the Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.
Age Limit:Â Between 18 to 25 years and Between 18 to 27 years
Pay Scale:Â Rs. 5200-20200/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-
SSC MTS Syllabus
Numerical and Mathematical Ability:
It will include questions on problems relating to Integers and Whole Numbers, LCM and HCF, Decimals, and Fractions, Relationships between numbers, Fundamental Arithmetic Operations and BODMAS, Percentages, Ratios and Proportions, Work and Time, Direct and inverse Proportions, Averages, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Area and Perimeter of Basic Geometric Figures, Distance and Time, Lines and Angles, Interpretation of simple Graphs and Data, Square, and Square roots, etc.
Reasoning Ability and Problem-Solving:
The questions in this part intend to measure the candidates’ general learning ability. The questions will be broadly based on Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding and Decoding, Analogy, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Nonverbal Reasoning based on diagrams, Age Calculations, Calendar, and Clock, etc.
General Awareness:
The broad coverage of the test will be on Social Studies (History, Geography, Art and Culture, Civics, Economics), General Science, and Environmental studies up to the 10th Standard.
English Language and Comprehension:
Candidates’ understanding of the basics of the English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, correct usage, etc. and to test comprehension, a simple paragraph may be given and questions based on the paragraph to be asked.
SSC MTS Exam Pattern 2024
The SSC MTS Exam 2024 consists of two sessions conducted online. In Session I, the topics covered include Numerical and mathematical Ability, along with Reasoning Ability and problem-solving. SSC MTS Selection Process 2024
Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) & Descriptive Paper (Paper-II) and Document Verification. The Examination will be held at various centers across India. For more details please wait for the Official Advt. to be released.

SSC MTS 2024 Application Fee
Candidates must pay Rs. 100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid Online mode during the submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank using fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST, PWD, EX-SERVICEMEN, AND WOMEN CANDIDATES.
SSC MTS 2024 How to ApplyÂ
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) — https://ssc.nic.in (See the Application form’s link given below)
Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/acknowledgment slip with a unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence.
Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination in 2024 notification will be published on May 7th, 2024. Interested candidates have the opportunity to submit their applications during the period from May 7th to June 6th, 2024.
