EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Degree from a recognised University or equivalent as on 01.01.2016.
Note: Male candidates willing to apply for Delhi Police only should possess valid Driving License for Light Motor Vehicle (Motor cycle and Car) at the time of Physical Test/Standard Test.

ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent as on 01.01.2016.
AGE LIMIT: 20 years to 25 years as on 01.01.2016
PAY SCALE: Rs.5200/- – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay – Rs.2800/-

Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, 05 years for ordinarily domiciled candidates in J&K, 10 years for Widow/divorcee or legally separated women (no remarried) and Ex-Serviceman/others – as per Govt. norms.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS (FOR ALL ABOVE POSTS)
(i) Male Candidates: Height – 170 cms (162.5cms for ST and 165cms for Hill areas); Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) – 80cms/ 85cms (77/82cms for ST and 80/85cms for Hill areas)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height – 157cms (154cms for ST and 155cms for Hill areas); Chest- Not applicable.
Weight: Corresponding to height for all posts.
Eye sight: The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY (ENDURANCE) TEST (PET) (FOR ALL POSTS)
For male candidates only
a) 100 meters race in 16 seconds
b) 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
c) Long Jump : 3.65 metres in 3 chances
d) High Jump : 1.2 metres in 3 chances
e) Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metres in 3 chances
For female candidates only
a) 100 metres race in 18 seconds
b) 800 metres race in 4 minutes
c) Long Jump: 2.7 metres (9 feet) in 3 chances.
d) High Jump : 0.9 metres (3 feet) in 3 chances.
The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Endurance Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.
Written Examination will be on 20.03.2016 (for paper-1) and 05.06.2016 (for paper-II). Questions in both papers will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. Questions will be set in Hindi and English
Examination will be at various centres across the Country. For West Bengal, the examination centre will be at Kolkata.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST, WOMEN CANDIDATES AND EX-SERVICEMAN CANDIDATES.

Candidates must submit only one application.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO SSC AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
