SSC Southern Region – Recruitment for 21 vacancies in Group ‘B’ & Group ‘C’. Last Dt. 24/11/2014

Staff Selection Commission, Southern Region (SSC SR), Chennai, is inviting application for “Group-B” and “Group-C” in various Offices. Advertisement No. SSC/SR/2/2014. STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION, SOUTHERN REGION (SSC SR) INVITES APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS GROUP – B AND GROUP – C POSTS. LAST DATE – 24/11/2014

1. Jr. Technical Assistant: 5 Nos.
Qualification: Degree in Commerce/Economics or Degree in Law

2. Quarantine Inspector: 1 No.
Qualification: B.Sc with Zoology or Microbiology as one of essential subject and 02yrs experience in conducting research/experiment in relevant field.

3. Research Assistant: 1 No.
Qualification: Master’s Degree in relevant speciality i.e. Zoology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry

4. Assistant Programmer: 9 Nos.
Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Computer Technology or Master’s degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science or M.Tech in Computer Application AND relevant experience of 02yrs. See advt. given below for more details.

5. Assistant Epigraphist: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Master’s degree in Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telegu/ Kannada with ancient Indian History as subject at Bachelor’s degree level OR Master’s degree in Ancient Indian History with Tamil/ Malayalam/ Telegu/ Kannada.

6. Artist Grade-II: 1 No.
Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent and Diploma from Art School or College.

7. Sales Assistant: 2 Nos.
Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent and 3yrs experience in publishing House or a book seller of standing or in similar organization.

 

Age Limit: Maximum 30yrs as on 24/11/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Widow/Divorced women/legally separated women – 05yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Domicile of J&K—05yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Application Fee: Candidates willing to apply should pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- by means of “Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)” only. These stamps are available at the counter of all Post Offices of the country. These Recruitment Fee Stamps may be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose. These Recruitment Stamps must be got cancelled from the Counter Clerks of any Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Office.
NO FEE FOR SC/ST, PH AND ALL FEMALE CANDIDATES.
