SSC Stenographer C & D Recruitment 2023 Post Details:
STENOGRAPHER (GRADE ‘C’) – 93 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years
STENOGRAPHER (GRADE ‘D’) – 1114 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years
Upper Age Relaxation:
The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.
In order to qualify for the Stenographer Grade ‘D’ role at the Border Roads Organization (BRO), applicants are required to meet the physical criteria established by the organization. Further details can be found in the official advertisement.
Only male candidates are eligible for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ in the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
SSC Stenographer C & D Recruitment 2023 Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination, Skill Test, Document Verification, Physical Efficiency Test, and Physical Standard Test wherever applicable.

SSC Steno 2023 Exam Application Fee:
To apply for the position, candidates are required to pay an Application Fee of Rs. 100/-. Payment can be made online during the submission of the application form using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking. Alternatively, the fee can be paid through a Bank using a fee payment Challan, which can be downloaded from the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). NO APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED IN THE CASE OF WOMEN/SC/ST/PWD/EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) — https://ssc.nic.in (See the Application form’s link given below).
Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
