Goa Medical College is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 1077 posts of Staff Nurse, Junior Technician, Pharmacist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Therapist, ECG Technician, Medico Social Worker, Senior Technician, Physiotherapist, Lower Division Clerk, Store Keeper, Medical Record Clerk and Multi Tasking Staff. 1. STAFF NURSE
No. of Vacancies: 600 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) a) Certificate in Nursing from a recognised Institution.
b) Certificate in Midwifery/ Special training for Male Nurses for 06 months duration.
OR
i) B.Sc. Nursing.
ii) Registration certificate as Registered Nurse, or registered Midwife from State Council.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs. 35,400/- per month.

 

2. JUNIOR TECHNICIAN
No. of Vacancies: 40 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc in Chemistry/ Microbiology from a recognized University.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Diploma in Medical and Laboratory Technology from a recognized University/ Institution.
i) One year experience in the line.
iii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs. 25,500/- per month.

 

3. PHARMACIST
No. of Vacancies: 23 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Diploma in Pharmacy from Board of Technical Education.
OR
i)Degree in Pharmacy from recognized University.
ii) Should be registered with the State Council of Pharmacy.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Not Less than 03 years experience as a registered Pharmacist.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs.29,200/- per month.

 

4. OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Intermediate/ Higher Secondary/ Senior Cambridge with Science Subjects or equivalent.
ii) Diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized Institution.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Experience in Occupational Therapy in a Hospital.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs.29,200/- per month.

 

5. SPEECH THERAPIST
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc in Speech Therapy and Audiology from a recognised University or equivalent.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Experience: At least 01 year’s experience in management of speech disorders in a teaching Institution.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs.29,200/- per month.

 

6. ECG TECHNICIAN
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) S.S.L.C. or equivalent.
ii) I.T.I Course certificate of a Government recognised I.T.I. in Electronics, failing which Electrical.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Experience in E.C.G. in a Hospital or in Electronic equipment.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs. 25,500/- per month.

 

7. MEDICO SOCIAL WORKER
No. of Vacancies: 12 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) A Graduate from a recognized University with Sociology as one of the subjects of study, or an equivalent qualification in Sociology from a recognized University/ Institution.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Experience in Medico Social work at Hospitals/ Medical Institutions.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs. 29,200/- per month.

 

8. SENIOR TECHNICIAN
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc with Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Zoology/ Biology from a recognised University with Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Genetics and Medical Laboratory Techniques (PGDCGMLT) or Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Techniques (PGDMLT) from a recognised University.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs. 29,200/- per month.

 

9. PHYSIOTHERAPIST
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Intermediate/ Higher Secondary/ Senior Cambridge with Science Subjects or equivalent.
ii) Diploma in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institution.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Experience in Physiotherapy in a Hospital.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

10. LOWER DIVISION CLERK
No. of Vacancies: 85 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent Qualification from a recognized Institution.

11. STORE KEEPER

Educational Qualification: i) Intermediate/ Higher Secondary/ Senior Cambridge or equivalent.

Experience: Two years experience.
Desirable: i) Knowledge of Marathi.
ii) Should be Computer Literate.

12. MEDICAL RECORD CLERK
No. of Vacancies: 18 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent.
ii) Speed of 30 wpm in type writing in English.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Knowledge of Marathi.
ii) Should be Computer Literate.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs. 19,900/- per month.

 

13. MULTI TASKING STAFF
No. of Vacancies: 254 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Passed Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/ Institution.
OR
Passed Course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent qualification, in relevant trade, from a recognized Institution.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Knowledge of Marathi.
ii) Multi-tasking Skills such as knowledge of operating office machines including Computers.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Pay: Rs. 18,000/- per month.

 

The candidates will be appointed on Regular basis.

Note: The candidate should be a resident of Goa having valid 15 years Residence Certificate in the State of Goa, valid employment exchange registration card, Cast Certificate, if any etc.

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
