1. ASSISTANT SUB-INSPECTOR (W/L)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: (i) Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Electronics & Electrical Engineering/ Engineering/ Telecommunication Engineering/ Radio Technology Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute.
OR
(ii) Certificate course in wireless mechanic cum operator (minimum of two years
OR
(iii) Two years experience as wireless operator on active service in defence service
OR
(iv) Passed graduation examination in grade II wireless operating/ technician/ passed examination of cryptography conducted by the Police wireless department/ DCPW/ Defence.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.29,200- Rs.92,300

 

2. POLICE CONSTABLE
No. of Vacancies: 72 Nos. (UR-31, SC-02, ST-04, OBC-10) female-21 (UR-16, ST-01, OBC-08).
Educational Qualification: Standard XIIth pass form recognized Board.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- Rs.20,200 with Grade pay Rs.2000/-

 

3. CONSTABLE DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-04, OBC-01, Female- 01(UR)
Educational Qualification: (i) Must have passed SSC.
(ii) Having valid light motor vehicle/ heavy motor vehicle driving license minimum 2 years old.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years
Pay Scale: Rs.21,700- Rs.69,100

 

4. POLICE CONSTABLE (RTO/ RADIO MECHANIC/ CIPHER)
No. of Vacancies: 17 Nos. (UR-08, OBC-03, ST-01, Female- 05 (UR-04, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: (i) HSC in science stream or
(ii) ITI certificate in Wireless Operating/ Radio Tech. course/ Electronic Telecommunication.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.21,700- Rs.69,100

 

5. INSPECTOR OF EXCISE
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos. (UR-07, SC-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognized University.
Age Limit: Maximum-30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- Rs.20,200 with Grade pay Rs.2800/

 

6. EXCISE GUARD
No. of Vacancies: 58 Nos. (UR-32, OBC-19, SC-02, ST-05)
Educational Qualification: Standard Xth pass from recognized Board.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200- Rs.20,200 with Grade pay Rs.1800/-

 

Physical Standards:

For Assistant Sub-Inspector (W/L), Police Constable, Police Constable (RTO/ Radio Mechanic/ Cipher):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 168 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cm; Chest (expanded) — 85cm
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 152 cm

 

For Constable Driver: 
(i) Height -160 cms for males and 152 cms for female.
(iii) Chest measurement (only for males) unexpanded 81 am and expanded-85 cms.

 

For Inspector of Excise and Excise Guard:

(i) Height: 168 cms for males and 152 cms for female.

(ii) Chest (Males) unexpanded-79 cms, expanded -84 cms.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test and Written Examination.

Note: Candidates having domicile of Daman & Diu shall be given weightage.
