The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites online applications for Lower Divisional Clerks and Data Entry Operators through Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, in 2022. The vacancies are for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India. STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR LOWER DIVISIONAL CLERK/ DATA ENTRY OPERATORS.

LOWER DIVISION CLERK/ JUNIOR SECRETARIAT ASSISTANT

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit:

• Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as of 01/01/2023.

Pay Scale:

• Pay Level-2 (Rs. 19,900-63,200).

 

DATA ENTRY OPERATOR

Educational Qualification:

• Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit:

• Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as of 01/01/2021.

Pay Scale:

• Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5(Rs. 29,200-92,300).

 

DATA ENTRY OPERATOR GRADE ‘A’

Educational Qualification:

• 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Age Limit:

• Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as of 01/01/2021.

Pay Scale:

• Pay Level-4(Rs. 25,500-81,100).

Vacancies:

• Tentative vacancies: There are approx. 4500 vacancies. However, firm vacancies will be determined in due course

Upper Age Relaxation: 

• The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, and 10 years for the PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

 

The vacancies are for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.

Candidates’ Selection:

• Selection of candidates will be done through Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive
  Paper (Tier-II) and Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier-III). The Computer-Based Examination (Tier-I) will be held at various centers across India. For details please see the official advt.

Application Fee:

• Candidates must pay an Application Fee of Rs. 100/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during the submission of the online application form by using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). See the released advertisement for more details.

NO APPLICATION FEE IS REQUIRED IN THE CASE OF WOMEN, SC, ST, PWD, AND EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.

How to Apply:

• Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) — https://ssc.nic.in (See the Application form’s link given below) from dated 06-12-2022 to 04-01-2023

Upon successful payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the online application form, the system-generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
