State Dr_gs Control & Research Laboratory (SDCRL), Kolkata (Govt. of West Bengal), is recruiting 15 persons for the post of “Junior Scientific Assistant” and “Laboratory Assistant”. B.Sc degree done candidates with the below mentioned criteria may apply for the post. Junior Scientific Assistant: 6 Nos. (Gen-2; Gen-EC-1; SC-1; ST-1; OBC-A-1)
Qualification: Candidates should have done B.Sc with any one of the following subjects— Chemistry, Botany, Zoology or Physiology
OR B.Pharma degree from any recognised University.
Preference will be given to the candidates with honours degree in Chemistry
Consolidated pay – Rs.17420 approximately
2. Laboratory Assistant: 9 Nos. (Gen-3; Gen-EC-1; SC-1; SC-EC-1; ST-1; OBC-A-1; OBC-B-1)
Qualification: Candidates should have done B.Sc with any one of the following subjects—Chemistry, Botany or Zoology.
OR B.Pharma degree from any recognised University.
Consolidated pay: Rs.13850 approximately
Age limit (for both posts): maximum 40yrs as on 1/1/2012. Age relaxation is as per govt. norms.
Desirable qualifications:—
- Basic knowledge of computer is preferred
- The candidates with at least one year practical experience in drug analysis from recognised Government laboratory will be preferred.
- Securing minimum 50% marks in any one of the subjects in the Graduation level, i.e. Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Physiology or in B.Pharm will be preferred
Candidates’ selection will be made through Walk-in-Interview. The appointment will be on Contractual basis for 1 year.
