NAME OF THE POST AND VACANCIES:
1. Statistical Assistant under Labour Commissioner: 14 posts (UR-07, SC-02, ST-03, SEBC-02. Out of which, 01 post is reserved for PWD).
2. Statistical Assistant under Director of Employees State Insurance Scheme: 01 post (UR).
3. Statistical Assistant under Director Factories & Boilers: 01 post (UR).
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Economics/ Commerce/ Sociology with basic knowledge in Computer.
Note: Candidates having Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology must have passed Intermediate/ +2 level with Mathematics as one subject.
ii) Must be able to speak, read and write Odia.
iii) The candidates must have passed Middle School Examination with Odia as a language subject or have passed High School Certificate Examination or equivalent examination with Odia as a subject/ medium of examination in non-language subject or have passed a test in Odia in M.E School Standard conducted by School & Mass Department.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/01/2017.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16880/- per month.
The vacancies are under Labour Commissioner, Director of Employees State Insurance Scheme and Director Factories & Boilers (Labour & ESI Department). The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women candidates and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Main Written Examination and Viva Voce.
