Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Ltd. is recruiting 35 persons for the post of “Steno-Cum-Computer Assistant. Grade—III”, “Junior Clerk” and “Lower Division Assistant” for placement at their various units and Corporate Office. Advertisement No.OHPC: HQ: HRD: RECTT: 02/2012. Application form is to be as per format. Educational and other criteria is given below—
1. Steno- Cum- Computer Assistant, Gr—III: 10 Nos. (Gen-3; SC-2; ST-2; SEBC-3)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. Must have ability to inscribe 80 words per minute in English Shorthand. Typing ability—40 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Odia. Candidates should have one year Diploma in Computer Application or its equivalent.
2. Junior Clerk: 22 Nos. (Gen-7; SC-4; ST-5; SEBC-6). Out of them PH-1nos. and Ex-Serviceman- 3nos.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and one year diploma in Computer Application OR Diploma in Office management with one year diploma in Computer Application.
3. L.D. Assistant: 3 Nos. (Gen-1; ST-1; SEBC-1)
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline and one year diploma in Computer Application OR Diploma in Office management with one year diploma in Computer Application.
Age limit: between 18yrs to 32yrs as on 1/5/2012. Age relaxation—SC/ST, SEBC- 5yrs; Women candidates- 5yrs, PH candidates—10yrs. Ex-serviceman—as per norms laid by Orissa govt.
Pay Scale: —
For Steno-cum-Computer Asst. Gr-II: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and G.P.—Rs.2400
For Jr.Clerk and L.D.Asst: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and G.P.—Rs.1900
Candidates’ selection: Selection will be through Written Test. First Objective Test and then Subjective Selection Test.
Objective Test will be multiple choices question on General Aptitude. This test is likely to be held at Bhubaneswar, Rourkela/ Sambalpur, Koraput or any other city within Odisha.
Qualified candidates will be then called for Subjective Selection Test at Bhubaneswar. Subjective Selection Test will be of—
For Steno-cum-Computer Asst— (i) Shorthand Test, (ii) Typewriting Test, (iii) Subjective Language Test and (iv) Documentation Test in Computer.
For Jr. Clerk and L.D. Assistant— (i) Subjective Language Test, (ii) Subjective GK & Intelligence Test and (iii) Mathematics Test. For more information refer the Advt.
