DIRECTORATE OF FOOD & DRUGS ADMINISTRATION IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 56 POSTS OF FOOD SAFETY OFFICER, ASSISTANT CHEMIST (FOOD/ DRUGS), PHARMACIST, LABORATORY ASSISTANT, JUNIOR STENOGRAPHER, LOWER DIVISION CLERK, DRIVER AND MULTI TASKING STAFF. LAST DATE — 16/09/2019

 

1. FOOD SAFETY OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 13 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) A Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a recognized University OR Any other equivalent/ recognized qualification notified by the Central Govt.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Pay: Rs.29,200/- per month.

 

2. ASSISTANT CHEMIST (FOOD)
No. of Vacancies: 10 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or Microbiology or Food and Drugs from a recognized University or is an Associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) by examination in the section of Food Analysis conducted by the Institution of Chemists (India) or has an equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central Govt.
ii) Not less than 01 year experience. For details please see the Official Advt.
OR
i) a) Degree in Science with Chemistry or Biochemistry or Food Technology or Microbiology or Food and Drugs from a recognized University or has an equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central Govt.
b) Not less than 03 years experience after Graduation.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Basic Pay: Rs.29,200/- per month.

 

3. ASSISTANT CHEMIST (DRUGS)
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Science with Chemistry or Microbiology of a recognized University or has an equivalent qualification recognized and notified by the Central Govt.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Experience: Not less than 03 years experience.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Pay: Rs.29,200/- per month.

 

4. PHARMACIST
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Diploma in Phamacy from Board of Technical Education or Degree in Pharmacy from recognized University.
ii) Should be registered with the State Council of Pharmacy.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Not less than 03 years experience as registered Pharmacist.
ii) Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Pay: Rs.29,200/- per month.

 

5. LABORATORY ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or its equivalent with Science subject.
ii) Successful completion of Lab Assistant/ Lab Technician course from a recognized Institution.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Pay: Rs.25,500/- per month.

 

6. JUNIOR STENOGRAPHER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ Institution.
ii) Should be Computer Literate.
iii) Speed of 100 wpm in Shorthand and 35 wpm on Computer Typewriting.
iv) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Pay: Rs.25,500/- per month.

 

7. LOWER DIVISION CLERK
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ Institution.
ii) Should be Computer Literate.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Pay: Rs.19,900/- per month.

 

8. DRIVER
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination from a recognized Board/ Institution.
ii) Driving license for light vehicle.
iii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Experience: Unblemished experience of at least 02 years in the line.
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Pay: Rs.19,900/- per month.

 

9. MULTI TASKING STAFF
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Secondary School Examination Certificate from a recognized Board/ Institution or Passed Course conducted by Industrial Training Institute or equivalent qualification, in relevant trade from a recognized Board/ Institution.
ii) Knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable: i) Knowledge of Marathi.
ii) Multi tasking skills such as knowledge of operating office machine including computer.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as on 16/09/2019.
Pay: Rs.18,000/- per month.

 

Only candidates who are residents of Goa are eligible to apply.
