Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding (IFGTB) is inviting application for 06 posts of Stenographer Grade-II, Forest Guard and Technician. INSTITUTE OF FOREST GENETICS AND TREE BREEDING (IFGTB) IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 06 STENOGRAPHER GRADE-II, FOREST GUARD AND TECHNICIAN. LAST DATE — 30/11/2020 (14/12/2020)

 

1. STENOGRAPHER GRADE-II

No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)

Educational Qualification: i) 12th Class certificate from recognized Board.
ii) Should possess a minimum speed of 80 wpm in stenography English/ Hindi.
iii) Certificate course in computer application typing speed 5 key depression for each word.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 30/11/2020.

Pay Scale: Rs.25500 — Rs.81100

 

2. FOREST GUARD

No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)

Educational Qualification: i) 12th pass with Science from recognized Board.
ii) The candidates will be required to successfully complete Forestry training course from a recognized Forest Guard training Institution during the probation period.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 30/11/2020.

Pay Scale: Rs.19900 — Rs.63200

 

3. TECHNICIAN

No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR)

Trade wise vacancies:
i) Plumber- 01 post
ii) Carpenter- 01 post
iii) Mason or its equivalent- 01 post

Educational Qualification: Matriculation from a recognized Board with ITI Certificate in relevant trade or Certificate course from a recognized Institute.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 30/11/2020.

Pay Scale: Rs.19900 — Rs.63200

 

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for departmental candidates and government servants as per Govt. norms.

 

The posts are Temporary in nature and likely to be made Permanent.

 

Physical Standards (For Forest Guard only):
(i) Male Candidates: Height — Minimum 165 cms (160 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 79 cms (75 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 84 cms (80 cms for ST)
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — Minimum 150 cms (145 cms for ST candidates); Chest — 74 cms (70 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 79 cms (75 cms for ST)

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Physical Test, Skill Test and Trade Test wherever applicable. The examination/ test will be conducted in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu only.
