STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR STENOGRAPHER GRADE ‘C’ AND STENOGRAPHER GRADE ‘D’. LAST DATE — 04/11/2020
1. STENOGRAPHER GRADE ‘C’
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/08/2020.
2. STENOGRAPHER GRADE ‘D’
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/08/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.
Only those candidates who have skills in stenography are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination and Skill Test. The Computer Based Examination will be held from 29/03/2021 to 31/03/2021 at various Centers across India. For details please see the official advt.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs. 100/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC). See released advertisement for more details.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF WOMEN, SC, ST, PWD AND EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Staff Selection Commission (SSC) — https://ssc.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 10/10/2020 to 04/11/2020.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
