STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR STENOGRAPHER (GRADE ‘C’/ GRADE ‘D’). LAST DATE — 18/10/2019
1. STENOGRAPHER (GRADE ‘C’)
No. of Vacancies: Vacancies will be determined in due course.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 01/01/2020.
2. STENOGRAPHER (GRADE ‘D’)
No. of Vacancies: Vacancies will be determined in due course.
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 01/01/2020.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of two years.
Candidates applying for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ in the Border Roads Organization (BRO) should meet the prescribed physical standard as laid by Border Roads Organization (BRO). For details please see the Official Advt.
Only male candidates are eligible for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’ in the Border Roads Organization (BRO).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Examination, Skill Test, Document Verification, Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test wherever applicable. The Computer Based Examination will be held from 05/05/2020 to 07/05/2020. The examination will be held at various centres across India.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs. 100/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF WOMEN/SC/ST/PWD/EX-SERVICEMEN CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
