Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) is recruiting 36 Nos. “Stenographer” in Grade – II and III for the vacancies available in BARC and constituent unites of DAE in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. 1. STENOGRAPHER GRADE – III: 28 Nos. (Gen—14; SC—4; ST—3; OBC—7)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with minimum speed of 80 w.p.m in English Shorthand & 30 w.p.m in English Typewriting
Knowledge of computer application is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- plus other allowances as per norms.
2. STENOGRAPHER GRADE – II: 8 Nos. (Gen—7; SC—00; ST—1; OBC—00)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent with minimum speed of 100 w.p.m in English Shorthand and 45 w.p.m in English Typewriting.
Knowledge of computer application is desirable.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- plus other allowances as per norms.
N.B: Beside above qualification, preference will be given to the candidates who have knowledge of Hindi Typewriting and Shorthand.
Age Limit: Between 18yrs to 27yrs as on 31.05.2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Stenography Test and Interview.
Written test will be of following papers – General English, General Knowledge and Elementary Arithmetic.
Qualified candidates will be then called for Stenography Test (Typing will be done on Computer MS Word). Finally candidates who qualified Written test and skill test will be called for Interview.
All test will be held in Mumbai only. Admit card and with dates and venue will be provided to the eligible candidates in due course.
