1. STIPENDIARY TRAINEES DIPLOMA HOLDER (CATEGORY-I)
(i) Mechanical: 10 Nos.
(ii) Chemical: 05 Nos.
(iii) Electronics: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full time 3yrs Diploma or Licentiate with not less than 60% marks in aggregate in relevant discipline — Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ or Electronic/ Industrial Electronic/ Electronic & Instrumentation/ Electronic & Communication Engineering
2. STIPENDIARY TRAINEES B.Sc HOLDER (CATEGORY-I)
(i) Physics: 14 Nos.
(ii) Chemistry: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full time B.Sc (with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage) OR B.Sc in Physics/ Chemistry with 60% marks in aggregate.
3. STIPENDIARY TRAINEES (CATEGORY-I)
(i) Plant Operator: 45 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full time HSC (10+2) or ISC (with Science subjects) with not less than 50% marks in Science (Physics & Chemistry) and Mathematics individually.
4. STIPENDIARY TRAINEES (CATEGORY-II)
(i) Fitter: 15 Nos.
(ii) Electrician: 10 Nos.
(iii) Electronic Mechanic: 08 Nos.
(iv) Instrument Mechanic: 11 Nos.
(v) Machinist: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Full time SSC (Class 10) with not less than 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually and 2 years full time ITI certificate course in relevant trades — Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic, Information Technology & Electronic System Maintenance/ Instrument Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic in Chemical Plant/ Machinist.
Candidates should have had English as one of the subjects at least at SSC level examination.
Age Limit:—
For Stipendiary Trainees Diploma Holder/ B.Sc Holder, Category-I: between 18yrs to 25yrs.
For Stipendiary Trainees Category-I: between 18yrs to 24yrs.
Age will be counted as on 01-05-2013. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.
Physical Standards of candidates —
Height—160cms
Weight – 45.5kgs
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test & Personal Interview. Trade Test will there, as applicable for the post.
On successful completion of training, the Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I) may be absorbed as Scientific Assistant/B in the PayBand of Rs.9300—34800 with Grade Pay: Rs.4200 and Stipendiary Trainees (Category-I) as Technician/B in the PayBand of Rs.5200—20200 with Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-
