1. STIPENDIARY TRAINEES/ SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT (ST/SA) (CATEGORY-I)
No. of Vacancies: 51 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 26 posts
ii) Electrical: 17 posts
iii) Electronics: 05 posts
iv) Chemical: 03 posts
Educational Qualification: i) Three years Diploma in Engineering with not less than 60% marks in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Chemical after SSC/ HSC.
ii) Candidates with HSC plus 02 years Diploma course in Engineering with 60% or above marks are also eligible.
iii) Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 31/01/2019.
Pay: Rs.35400/- initially per month.
2. STIPENDIARY TRAINEES/ SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT (ST/SA) (CATEGORY-I) (CHEMISTRY)
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) B.Sc. with a minimum of 60% marks with Chemistry as principal and Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics & Computer Science as subsidiary OR with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage.
ii) Mathematics at H.S.C. (10+2) level is essential.
iii) Candidates having Mathematics as the principal subject at B.Sc. are not eligible.
iv) Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 31/01/2019.

3. SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT/B (CIVIL)
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Three years Diploma in Engineering with not less than 60% marks in Civil after SSC/ HSC.
ii) Candidates with HSC plus 02 years Diploma course in Civil Engineering with 60% or above marks are also eligible.
ii) Should have had English as one of the subjects either at SSC or at HSC level examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years as on 31/01/2019.
Pay: Rs.35400/- initially per month.
4. STIPENDIARY TRAINEES/ TECHNICIAN (ST/TM) (CATEGORY II) – PLANT OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 51 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) HSC (10+2) or ISC (with Science subjects) with not less than 50% marks in Science and Mathematics individually.
ii) English as one of the subjects atleast at SSC level Examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/01/2019.
Pay: Rs.21700/- initially per month.
5. STIPENDIARY TRAINEES/ TECHNICIAN (ST/TM) (CATEGORY II) – MAINTAINER
No. of Vacancies: 47 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Fitter: 17 posts
ii) Electrician: 06 posts
iii) Electronics Mechanic: 10 posts
iv) Instrument Mechanic: 07 posts
v) Welder: 03 posts
vi) Machinist: 03 posts
vii) Diesel Mechanic: 01 post
Educational Qualification: i) SSC with not less than 50% marks in Science subjects and Mathematics individually and 02 years ITI certificate course in Fitter/ Electrician/ Electronic Mechanic/ Instrument Mechanic/ Welder/ Machinist/ Diesel Mechanic trade.
ii) For Trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 02 years, the candidates should have atleast one year relevant working experience after completion of the course.
iii) English as one of the subject atleast at SSC level examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years as on 31/01/2019.
Pay: Rs.21700/- initially per month.
Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination but waiting for results are not eligible to apply for the above posts.
The candidates selected for the post of Stipendiary Trainees/ Scientific Assistant (Category-I) & Stipendiary Trainees/ Technician (Category II) will undergo Training for a period of 1½ years and two years respectively.
The qualified and selected candidates will be on Probation for a period of one year.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Online Written Examination, Preliminary Test, Advance Test, Skill Test, Physical Standard Test and Personal Interview wherever applicable. For the post of Stipendiary Trainees/ Scientific Assistant (Category-I) & Scientific Assistant/ B the Online examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of April, 2019 and the Personal Interview will be conducted at Surat tentatively in the month of May, 2019.
