Educational Qualification:
i) For Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgy, Chemical & Civil: Diploma in Engineering in respective discipline with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
ii) For Computer Science: Diploma in Computer Science with minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.
iii) For Electronics & Instrumentation: Diploma in Electronics / Instrumentation/ Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. Candidates with Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Instrumentation Technology/ Instrumentation & Control Engineering with minimum 60% marks in aggregate can also apply.
iv) For Chemistry: B.Sc. (Chemistry as principal subject and Physics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Biology as subsidiary subjects) with minimum 60% marks.
v) For Physics: B.Sc. (Physics as principal subject and Chemistry/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Electronics/ Computer Science as subsidiary subjects) with minimum 60% marks.
Age Limit: Minimum 19 years and maximum 24 years as on 20.08.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.16000/- for 1st year & Rs.18000/- for 2nd year per month.

Educational Qualification:
i) For Plant Operator: H.Sc in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry and Maths subjects) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
ii) For Laboratory: H.Sc in Science stream (with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & Biology subjects) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate.
iii) For rest of the disciplines: SSC (with Science and Maths) with a minimum 60% marks in aggregate plus Trade Certificate in A/C Mechanic/ Fitter/ Welder/ Machinist/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Mechanical trade.
The candidates should meet any of the following requirements as regards Trade Certificate:
i. NTC (ITI pass out) of two year duration.
OR
ii. NAC of Two years duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme
OR
iii. NTC (ITI pass out) of one year duration plus one year work experience after the completion of course.
OR
iv. NTC (ITI pass out) of one-year duration plus NAC of minimum one year duration under Apprenticeship Training Scheme.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 22 years as on 20.08.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.12500/- for 1st year & Rs.10500/- for 2nd year per month.
NOTE:
Diploma should be of 03 years duration after SSC or 02 years after HSC/ B.Sc.
Candidates with 60% marks in BSc with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as subjects with equal weightage will also be considered.
The candidates will undergo Training for a period of two years at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) & Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB). After successful completion of training, candidates will be selected for the post of Scientific Assistant/C and Technician/ B or Technician/C depending on their performance during the training period and interview.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Physical Standards: (i) Height — 160 cms; (ii) Weight- 45.5 Kg.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Preliminary Test, Advanced Test, Skills Test and Interview.
