Under the Ministry of Defence, Ordnance Factory Chanda, Maharashtra, is recruiting is 15 persons for the post of “Storekeeper”. Higher Secondary candidates may apply for the post. Application form is to be prepared on plain paper as per prescribed format. The eligibility criteria and details is given below—
Store Keeper: 15 Nos. (Gen—8; SC—0; ST—2; OBC—5). Out of them One for Ex-Serviceman.
Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) pass
Desirable — ‘O’ level certificate as per DOEACC in Computer application.
Age: between 18yrs to 27yrs as on closing date of application. Relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Ex-serviceman—as per norms.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200 and Grade pay—Rs.1900
Selection’s steps: Candidates will be selected through Written Examination. Written examination will be of 200 marks of 200 questions. Questions will be Objective Multiple Choices types on following subjects — (i) General Intelligence, (ii) English Language (Basic Knowledge), (iii) Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill) and (iv) General Awareness.
There will be negative markings for wrong answers. Only eligible candidates will be intimated the date and venue of test through Admit card.
How to apply: Prepare the application form by neatly typing on plain paper as per prescribed format. The application form should be enclosed with attested copies of relevant documents.
Application Fee: Candidates should prepare IPO or Bank Draft of Rs.50 which should be in favour of – General Manager, Ordnance Factory, Chanda and payable at—S.B.I., Bhadrawati O.F. Branch.
SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates do not require application fee.
List of enclosures with application form—
- Attested copies of relevant educational certificates.
- Attested copies of Madhyamik certificate in proof of age
- 3 Nos. passport size photographs, self-signed on front side (one copy is to be pasted on application form and other 2 copies as enclosures)
- Caste Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC
- Ex-serviceman should give discharge certificate.
- Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility.
All the documents should be attested by Gazetted officers only. On the top of the application form containing envelope, superscribe — “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____”.
