SUB DIVISIONAL ENGINEER
No. of Vacancies: 50 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Degree in Engineering in Civil or Mechanical from a recognized University or Institution.
ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard is essential.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600 — Rs.39100
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ BC of Punjab and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The vacancies are in the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation, Punjab.
The selected candidates will be on probation period of three (03) years.
Note:- Reserved category candidates of States other than Punjab will be treated as General candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Competitive Examination and Interview. The written competitive examination for the post will be scheduled tentatively in November, 2020.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.3000/- (Rs.1125/- for SC/ ST of all States & BC of Punjab State only, Rs.1750/- for PWD of Punjab State only and Rs.500/- for Ex-service men of Punjab State only). Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Punjab Public Service Commission (Punjab PSC).
